A: According to our application the Cobalt SS have 2.4L and 2.0L 2 different models; the 2.4L is natural aspirated engine and 2.0L is supercharged. From our applications in 2005 Cobalt SS is 2.0L supercharged. If you have the 2005 2.0L supercharged then you will need another design shifter the link below: https://www.cosmoracing.com/chevrolet-cobalt-2005-2007-ss-2-0l-supercharged-knob-sport-short-shifter-chevrolet-chevy

A: Yes it is also compatible on 2008 Cobalt 2.2L model.
