Q: Hey guys I have had the short shifter in my for a bit now and I

A: The 4 metal bushings they are to be installed right under the 4 corners of shifter housing as lifter bushings. You need to remove the original rubber bushings prior the installation.   The metal bushings are not essential but it helps for firmer shift feeling.

Q: what are the shift knob threads for this shifter?

A: The shifter knob thread is M12 x 1.25 pitch.
