A: The idea and design of suspension tower brace is to link and tighten 2 towers and to eliminate the movement between 2 towers. For hinged design tower brace the advantage is easier for installation due to angles in between 2 tower mounts. However, after the installation and tighten with the hinges the entire tower brace it performs the same as solid mount and without movement. When the hinge is lose then it is not functioning.
