A: The bushings shown on the picture they are the solid bushings for the shifter housing base; it provides with firmer shifting experience.

Q: Is it possible to use an aftermarket shift knob? Even if it fit

A: Yes the sport shifter it is compatible with other aftermarket knob as long as it is with M10x 1.25 thread pitch and at least 31mm diameter opening.
