Q: Does this shifter address the centering of the shift knob? The i

A: The shifter shaft itself does NOT equip any shift centering mechanism, it is from a tensioner spring on the shifter housing for the centering.

A: The shifter knob can be replaced no problem; however, please be noted that the fitting shifter knob has to be compatible with OEM shifter in order to work correctly with the fitting thread as well reverse lock mechanism.
